WINDUS One-Piece Molding Process for Hollow Thin-Walled Hexagonal Covers for Pickup Trucks

2025-08-15

In the transportation sector, pickup truck body brackets, as key components connecting the chassis and the cab, need to meet characteristics such as internal and external hexagonal shapes, hollow core, thin walls, variable wall thickness, high strength, corrosion resistance, and strong buffering performance.
Traditional Casting, machining, and welding processes have issues including difficulty in forming, proneness to defects, high costs, challenges in mass production, and susceptibility to deformation.
Our company's engineers have innovatively developed the "integrated forming preparation method for hollow thin-walled hexagonal cover parts." By integrating processes such as stamping and drawing, heat treatment, and surface treatment, this method abandons traditional processes, avoids defects like shrinkage cavities and deformation, and significantly improves the forming quality and overall strength of the parts.
Currently, this method has obtained a national invention patent, marking new achievements for our company in the field of stamping and drawing technology.
