WINDUS Secures Patent for Welding Posture Detection and Adjustment in Relatively Sealed Spaces
The sealing surface is a critical working surface of a valve seat, and its overlay welding quality directly determines the manufacturing quality and service life of the valve seat. The torch angle is crucial to welding quality; however, when using robots for overlay welding on the valve seat's sealing surface (a welding surface with dynamic changes in three dimensions) within a relatively sealed or semi-sealed space, challenges arise such as difficulty in observing the welding surface and controlling the torch angle.
Through practical exploration, WINDUS engineers have developed a method for welding posture detection and adjustment in relatively sealed spaces, which has now been granted an invention patent. This technology, featuring "precision posture control + intelligent overlay welding", addresses the industry pain point of difficult torch angle regulation in relatively sealed spaces. It not only helps WINDUS build a technological moat in the high-end valve seat manufacturing field but also improves the overlay welding quality of the valve seat's sealing surface and extends the product's service life, earning recognition from customers.
