WINDUS Unveils Dual-Station Welding Positioner to Double Throughput and Cut Costs

Against the backdrop of accelerating industrial welding automation, WINDUS, a China-based high-end equipment manufacturer, has independently developed and deployed a dual-station welding positioner. This device addresses the low utilization of single-station units and the high costs of multi-machine deployment.

Traditional single-chuck positioners follow a "one machine, one workpiece" model, which limits efficiency in batch production and increases equipment and floor space costs.

WINDUS's new solution allows two workpieces to be clamped and positioned simultaneously for optimal welding. This doubles output per machine, improves weld consistency and quality, reduces floor space requirements, and is well suited for space-constrained factories.

A patent application for the device has been filed with the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA). The solution helps fill a market gap for cost-effective automated batch welding, offering a new standardized approach to cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and quality enhancement in the welding industry.
